Water Rail Way

For cyclists and walkers, the Water Rail Way is a unique way of experiencing the Lincolnshire countryside and culture. Built mostly using disused railway lines, the Water Rail Way is at 33 miles, one of the East Midlands longest mainly traffic free cycling routes. The route connects Boston to Lincoln and dotted along the way are a series of original and

quirky works of art which include sculptures of Lincoln Red cattle, Lincoln Long Wool sheep and curly coat pigs as well as inspirational works celebrating the words of Lincolnshire poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson. The route has a thriving bird population and plenty of greenery to ensure you enjoy the Boston countryside in relative peace.
