Positive Energy for Sensitive Skin

The effective way to cure skin sensitivity problems is to supply positive energy to the skin, to rehydrate and undertake damage repair

lems, such as dry skin, itching, peeling and ery- thema. People have tried to find solutions for these skin problems, but there is no real cure. In fact, the best way to solve such sensitive skin problems is to truly understand what sensitive skin is and find out what sensitive skin really needs. Using correct methods of skin main- tenance and care, sensitive skin issues will be comprehensively and significantly ameliorated.

Key Causes of Skin Sensitivity In addition to congenital sensitive skin issues, sensitive skin problems can be caused by exter- nal factors. Sensitive skin means the skin is weaker than normal skin types, easily suscepti- ble to allergy, and in great need of special care and maintenance. The main cause for sensitive skin is damage

to the stratum corneum and the decline of the protective capability of the skin. The Stratum corneum is the first shield which prevents vari- ous external stimulations to our bodies, and prevents water loss from the inner skin. The structure of the stratum corneum is much like a wall composed of bricks and cement. The stratum corneum cells are the bricks and lipid between cells is the cement. When the skin encounters various external stimulations, the skin surface lipids can be damaged and the protective capability will decline accordingly. At such a time, if one doesn’t take proper steps of skin care and repair, the external stimulation will directly damage the skin, and skin water loss will be exacerbated. Finally, the skin will become very dry and sensitive.

Supply Positive Energy and Cure Sensitive Skin Recently, more and more people have been bothered by sensitive skin problems. How to

n the spring, all things begin to revive and grow. And spring is also the season when many people have skin sensitivity prob-

cure sensitive skin has also become a key issue for spa centers and beauty salons. So exploring cures for sensitive skin is a hot research topic for experts and specialists in the beauty indus- try. At present, the most common solution for sensitive skin is relieving, hydrating and strengthening moisture. But can hydrating and moisturizing completely solve the problem of sensitive skin? It is very important to find the correct way

to cure sensitive skin, that is to improve the protective capacity and the moisture holding capacity of the skin. The first important step is to repair the skin’s protective capability, to reduce trans-epidermal water loss, and then strengthen hydrating and moisturizing. Repair- ing the skin’s protective capability is to repair the damaged stratum corneum, replenish natu- ral lipid loss, and restore skin surface lipids. After the skin surface lipids have been repaired, the gap between the stratum corneum cells will be filled. As a result, the water of the inner skin will be stored and external stimulation will be prevented. The problem of sensitive skin will thus be gradually ameliorated. To solve the problem of sensitive skin, it is

necessary to simultaneously do internal and external work. Specifically, there are three steps to supplying positive energy for the skin: Improve protective capacity: active ingre-

dients, such as phospholipid, phytosterol, triglyceride, and aliphatic acid, are similar to human skin’s lipids and can imitate the natural environment of skin to fully fill the space between the stratum corneum cells and replenish lost lipids. In this way, the damaged stratum corneum will gradually restore tight- ening and health. Improve repair force: replenish ingredients

like vitamin B5, which have capability to repair the epidermis. Vitamin B5 is the constituent of coenzyme A, which is helpful in repairing skin tissues, assisting in the transformation of

energy from saccharides and fat, and promot- ing the metabolism of skin and mucosa. Vita- min B5 is also a very good humectant, which can improve the skin’s hydration function, and ameliorate skin problems of dry and rough skin, itching, peeling and erythema. Improve moisture holding capacity: effec-

tively hydrate and moisturize. Hyaluronic acid is well known for its effective function of hydrating and moisturizing, and ceramide is a newfound humectant for the epidermis. Given its similarities to the constituents of skin stratum corneum, ceramide can quickly per- meate through the skin, combine with water in the stratum corneum, and form a reticulate structure to firmly lock water and reduce trans epidermal water loss. So the key to solving sensitive skin issues is

to know the real needs of skin, comprehensive- ly repair, hydrate and moisturize, and finally rebuild a healthy protective shield of skin for external stimulation. In addition, it is neces- sary to be patient and careful. If you work on inner repairing and external hydrating over a number of days, you can successfully get rid of the problems of sensitive skin.
