Ryan Linttell - Athletic Attitude Award - February Ryan Linttell

Not only is Ryan an elite competitive athlete on both the Kelowna Christian School Knights’ senior volleyball and basketball teams, but the Grade 12 student demonstrates leadership and vision while making a positive impact on our community. A Principal’s List/Work Ethic student throughout his school years, Ryan has been a basketball referee and minor official for several seasons and has helped coach at the KCS basketball camp and the Trans Canada Basketball camp for boys in Grades 6-8.

Gary Athans and Macdonald Realty are pleased to announce to our Okanagan community the

establishment of a new Athletic Attitude Award (AAA) The ‘Triple-A’ award is to be presented monthly to a youth athlete or youth athletic volunteer in recognition of positive attitude and outstanding service and support to a sport, to teammates/coaches or to school athletic endeavours. The Daily Courier's Champions Magazine will feature the Triple-A winner each month, selected from nominations received from coaches, volunteers and teachers. In December, names of the year's 12 award-winners will be entered into a draw for $1,000, a gift to help reach athletic or academic goals. Triple A winners will be high achievers in often overlooked fields of excellence. They make a difference through exemplary work ethic, positive healthy attitudes toward life and sport, and the ability to encourage and support achievements of others. Candidate nominations can be emailed, along with a head and shoulder photo attachment, to gary@garyathans.com. Because in every generation: “Attitude makes a difference”.
