DREAMS of a £100,00 state-of-the-art skate park for Ashburton have come true after Ashburton Rollers secured £50,000 of Olympic legacy cash from Sport England. The group’s aim is to have a high quality concrete facility open at the recreation ground by the summer holidays.

THE Marie Curie Cancer Care Newton Abbot and District Fundraising Group has celebrated a successful first 12 months in which more than £6,000 was raised for the charity. The group started its year by coordi- nating the Great Daffodil Appeal.
