CLASS NOTES
Dalton Van Hatcher ’03 I was married to Jessica Van Hatcher
on August 18 at her family’s estate in Olympia, Washington.
Holly Flack ’05 Holly Flack completed her master’s
degree in vocal performance last summer at the University of Kentucky. Now living in Chicago and working at Groupon, Holly is coaching weekly with an accompanist and auditioning wherever she can. She is recently a winner of the 2012 Wisconsin District MONC Auditions, and she will compete at the Upper Midwest Region Auditions in Minneapolis in February 2013. In December, she presented a one-woman show for the 25th Annual Festival of Trees in Indiana. In January, she performed in two recitals: Florentine Opera’s Metropolitan Opera winners recital at St. John’s on the Lake, and Fire Ball V: A Masquerade of Ice and
Fire, presented by Fresco Opera. Additionally, Holly is very excited about performing the role of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the American Chamber Opera in August 2013.
Jenny Wolochow ’06 For the past year, I have been
living and breathing Teach for America while teaching second- graders at a charter school in San Jose, California. This year, new opportunities have brought me to exciting work at a technology startup in Mountain View, California. During the summer break, I had a great time road-tripping back and forth to Portland, seeing the redwoods, and catching up with friends and family. I also visited ’06 classmate Samantha Taylor in Chicago!
