Thirty-plus years since I left OES and I finally decided to write one of these? Yes, I am a slacker. Rather than try and provide 30 mumble-mumble years of updates, I will give you the most recent rundown of what is keeping me busy. I am currently leading the Oracle Consulting Implementation practice for the Western U.S. My team focuses on implementation of Oracle applications throughout the globe with all of the primary focus on companies located in the West. Additionally, my wife, three daughters (11, 8, and 5), two dogs, a cat, and a horse all have claims on parts of my busy day. In addition to all of those demands, in the last year I have managed to complete a multi-year

journey to achieve a black belt in Kyuki-do and begun competing in three gun matches across the U.S. I have found that running and shooting (accurately and quickly) is a lot harder than it looks.

Helen has returned to work full time as the director of development at the French American International School. That plus three kids ranging in age from 8 to 14 plus a doctor husband = BUSY! She spends her spare time (when she has it!) riding her horse, reading, and hanging out with her two labradors, Gus and Violet.
