Holy Trinity Church Kneeler Group

I hope many of you saw our kneeler tree at the Christmas Tree Festival in December. We are always looking for new stitchers, or former stitchers who feel they have had a bit of a rest over the summer and would now like to have something to do with their hands in the evenings again.

Please contact me or Ann Hanscombe if you are interested. You are always welcome. We meet on the third Thursday or Friday of the month - odd months of the year on a Thursday and even months of the year on a Friday - at 3.00pm in the Church meeting room.

Incidentally, I noticed that some old kneelers in the church which the vicar, licensed lay ministers and the choir use are bigger than those we are making. They are now in need of restoration and reupholstering. One of them is signed W.D.

They were

probably stitched around fifty years ago. Does anyone in the village know who stitched them?

Answers please, and do contact me if you are interested in joining the group.
