The market for business books certainly appears to be buoyant, and if this really is the age of the entrepreneur, then we can expect a raft of new titles over the coming months.
Last year Entrepreneur Country assembled an amazing line up of successful entrepreneurs from across the business spectrum and asked them to share the secrets behind their best business ideas.
This time, what we wanted to know was during the journey to business success, whose books did they turn to for inspiration? And as obligingly as ever, here’s what they told us...

“To be honest, I am not a huge reader of business books. More often, I prefer to read non-fiction that wouldn’t be found in bookshop business sections, but which has had and still does have a profound impact on my business philosophy. For example, ‘Mandela’s Way: 15 Lessons on Life, Love and Courage’ is an inspiring book by Richard Stengel that really gets to the heart of Mandela’s incredible journey. While it is a wonderful way to learn more about him, it is also a great tool for learning from him.”
