Having a live chat feature on your website is a great way to catch a customer in real time as they are browsing your website. We picked up an £8,000 client by following their online journey through our website, chatting with them in real time on Zopim then following up with a phone call.

If you stock products that competitors of yours also stock, offer a price match system to prove that you have the best price going. This will not only improve your product pages but also give you credibility if you are offering the best price available.

Finally, make sure you are clear on where you want your customers to purchase. Having big “buy it now” buttons on your website is the best way to make your consumers take the leap and purchase from your website.
