Christmas Day 2012 at Tavistock United Reformed Church


Each year it has been agreed that Tavistock’s Christmas Day Lunch & Party held at the United Reformed Church was better than the last - and 2012 was no exception! The roast turkey was cooked to perfection with plates full to overflowing. The entertainment was much enjoyed and volunteers from different backgrounds were united in making the day a very happy one for guests.


The Revd Roger Cornish said: “This was the 7th year that people in Tavistock - individuals and groups - have shown the true spirit of Christmas by donating goods / money / time to enable this event to take place. There are many people to thank - but groups donating this year have included the New Tavy Strollers, Tavistock Lions and Tavistock Twinning Association.
