The Fairground Heritage Centre near Lifton holds the national fairground collection.
Without doubt the largest collection of fairground art, and artefacts in the country.
At the heart of the collection, is the vintage working fairground under cover.
Illuminated by thousands of incandescent lamps, it boasts the largest Dodgem track in the coutry, 1940s Ghost Train, the oldest working ride in the country the sedate, but splendid’ Rodeo’ Switchback.
Two thrillers from the 1930s the Supersonic Skid and Motorcycle Speedway, make up the fairground.
