Peter Tavy Inn Real Ales & Real Food

The pretty village of Peter Tavy on the western flanks of Dartmoor feels remote but is easy to reach being just a mile off the A386 only two miles north of Tavistock.

The freehouse village pub the Peter Tavy Inn is a charming 15th century building and has masses of character with low beams, slate floors and stone fireplaces. During summer eat out in the pretty beer garden and in the winter warm up in front of a blazing log fire.

The pub is renowned for its good food and well-kept real ales. Home-made dishes are prepared from fresh local produce. There is a wide selection of imaginative dishes on the chalkboard menu including three vegetarian and three fish choices. The home-made puddings are to die for!

Recommended by all the good pub guides including: The Good Pub Guide; The Real Ale Pub Guide; and many others.

There is a good sized car-park and walkers, cyclists, dogs and children are all welcome.
