AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE DARTMOOR BRED BEEF DIRECT FROM OUR FARM.
As one of the original Dartmoor tenements, a Duchy of Cornwall farm since 1307, Brimpts has more than its fair share of scenery, history, folklore and magic. Brimpts is situated at Dartmeet in the very heart of Dartmoor, an area steeped in history and natural beauty. The Dart Valley, beautiful at all times of year is home to all of the loved and familiar Dartmoor animals and plants as well as boasting several rare species. Farm walks are available with self-guide leaflets and we also have a superb children’s play area.
Traditions of hospitality and genuine Devonshire food are long established at Brimpts, indeed since 1913 their cream teas have been justly renowned. Scones and home made cakes are made to authentic farmhouse recipes, and of course the only important traditions about jam and cream are that it should be local, the best, and lots of it!
Why not treat the family or get a group of friends together to have a Sunday Roast lunch at Brimpts Farm. Generous portions of home reared beef served with all the trimmings followed by delicious home made desserts. Booking is essential.
Whether you eat in the charming old fashioned farm house or on our fine summer days, in the pleasant gardens you cannot fail to enjoy your visit and your meal.

Producing top quality beef is the prime farming activity at Brimpts, and Andy Bradford’s herd of South Devon cattle is raised traditionally, grazing fields that stretch from the moorland down to the River Dart.
Brimpts Beef is an opportunity to purchase award winning beef direct from our farm on Dartmoor. We can offer individual cuts to meet your own specific requirements.
These can be purchased directly from the farm.
Brimpts home-reared beef is also available nationwide through the Brimpts Beefbox scheme. Delivering a selection of delicious cuts direct to your door.
