very parent wants the best for their child and every year more and more are turning towards independent schooling, including Rendcomb College Juniors and Nursery. In economically challenging times some question whether they can fund 3-18 education so choose to delay entry until senior school. Without question the sooner a child starts the better equipped they are to develop the life skills that will allow them to succeed.

Selecting a school for a child of any age is always difficult but when it is for your first child, aged 3, it takes on a whole new significance. Rendcomb’s Nursery and Reception (ages 3-5) provide the ideal starting point for a child’s education. Small classes and highly qualified staff ensure each child develops at their own pace and is able


to develop the confidence, individual and team skills, vital to access the school curriculum and thereby flourish. Stimulating indoor facilities and extensive and truly wonderful outdoor areas facilitate each individual’s learning experience in a safe, happy and beautiful environment.


A balance of both child initiated play and adult led activities covers all areas of development. In Nursery, sessions include Jolie Ronde French, Dance, PE, Music and Outdoor Education in our superb Forest School, all delivered by specialist teachers. Nursery activities involve Numeracy, Literacy, including Jolly Phonics, Cookery and Art.
