A Winter Wonder

Tinker Bell and The Secret of the Wings sees Tink and her Fairy friends journey into the forbidden world of the mysterious Winter Woods, where curiosity and adventure lead Tink to an amazing discovery and reveals a magical secret that could change her world forever. The movie

also introduces a whole new range of characters, all hailing from the Winter Woods. The most important is Periwinkle - or Peri for short - a Frost Fairy, who throughout the course of the adventure becomes the latest addition to the Fairies gang. Curious, bubbly and fun, she is unable to live outside the Winter Woods, where she spends her spare time making frost swirls and ice-sliding on frozen waterfalls. Periwinkle wears a dress that shimmers like ice and sports a cute, frosty up-do to match - but most of all, she is crazy about her new-found twin sister Tinker Bell. The two were born of the same baby's first laugh, and the film follows the pair as they make this surprising discovery and then search for a way to bring their two very different worlds together.

a strong vehicle for the franchise, as is the monthly magazine, which helps drive interest when a new film is coming out. “Toys, dress-up and dolls are also really popular,” said Justine. “The key for us is to make sure that – once the girls have read the magazine, seen the film and played the app – we know what they want to do next, how they want to engage with the brand and how we can continue to make it relevant for them as we move the franchise forward.”
