Welcome to the latest edition of British Builder & Developer. It’s our final issue of 2012 – a year which I’m sure we will all be very happy to put behind us.
November saw the industry shrink for the third time in four months, but thankfully, changes are on the horizon. George Osborne’s Autumn Statement outlined measures which will free up spending to help boost the UK economy. There is still an urgent need for new homes in the UK so the industry must hope that the Government will deliver on its £10billion pledge for new housing.
