100% Design emerges as a top British design show
The latest edition of 100% Design saw over 25,000 visitors on the hunt for design inspiration
After welcoming over 25,000 visitors to Earls Court during September’s four day exhibition, 100% Design has taken the lead as one of Britain’s largest design shows, clearing last year’s attendance by a staggering 28 per cent.
he event was established in 1995 as the original interiors show and a design focus on London has continued each September like clockwork ever since. This year, Earls Court came alive with design creativity, gathering over 350 exhibitors who each propelled themselves into the four- day event, showcasing the most innovative developments across the design, interior and architecture industry.

The curation of the exhibition into four distinct sections - Interiors, Office, Kitchens & Bathrooms and Eco, Design &
Build - each with its own meeting hub, ensured that both exhibitors and visitors achieved a renewed industry focus and lasting connection with other businesses in their sector. Exhibitors ranged from global giants such as Vitra, Knoll, Gaggenau, Dulux and Amtico, to distinctive and homegrown design studios such as Isomi, Bark and Deadgood. In addition, the Emerging Brands and International Pavilions sections brought limitless energy and enthusiasm from the design community of tomorrow, with young designers from an array of backgrounds. From surface pattern designer Kirath Ghundoo, to multi-disciplined industrial designer Arthur Analts, to environmentally intelligent furniture designer Julio Thomas, the section delivered endlessly new and challenging ways of approaching space and design. Design Show Director, William Knight, commented, “This is an event to serve the design community; both the uniquely innovative companies we have in the UK, but also the wealth of international business which increasingly views London as a pivotal centre for trade and investment.
