Tom Irons, the grandson of the founder, Edison Irons. Tom said: ‘The business was established in 1945 and Edison’s three sons, Melville, Garfield and Clayton, followed their father into the firm. ‘In 2012, we have a team of eight working for us including my son William and daughter Katie.
‘MGC Engineering Ltd undertakes steel fabrication, structural steelwork, welding and machining. The firm covers Cornwall working on commissions from architects, builders and individuals.
