AN energy from waste plant at the North Yard of Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth has been given approval by planners - subject to section 106 obligations being met. The city’s
planning
committee narrowly voted in favour of granting conditional
approval following a six-and-a- half hour meeting. Seven members of the committee voted in favour of the officers’ recommendation to approve the application, subject to conditions, while five voted against.
