Series 3 Lightweight The

lightweight was looking good now and was fulfilling its role as a good load lugger and Alfie (the dog) loved it. But

I’ve discovered that Land Rovers cant be left alone, so I changed it a bit.

I decided to go for a soft top. I found a canvas with a complete set of sticks, a split type tailgate and a screen with the tooth type grips on the top all advertised in the back of the Ex Military Land Rover Club magazine. They were not too far away, well in the same county of Norfolk as me anyway (70 miles each way) so I arranged to buy them, brought them home, painted them up and fitted them.

It’s a bit more fiddly than having a door, but its lovely having the back rolled up on warm days.
