Outstanding Youth Leadership Award Brandi Kochera, president of the junior class at North Crawford High School, has been a youth mentor through the Crawford County PALS program and was a primary organizer of a fund raiser for a family that had suffered the sudden loss of a loved one.

●Joe Ruskey and Cheryl Mader turned $36,000, raised from district Rotary Clubs, into almost $265,000 to be used to provide desperately needed clean water in the West African nation of Ghana. ●Lara Czajkowski-Higgins, the Rotary Club’s Local Area Projects Coordinator, collaborated with several Crawford County agencies to provide a Thanksgiving Day meal to more than 140 area families in need.


Business Development Award ●Ron Leys brought together a county-wide group of citizens to form the first Crawford County Community Fund Advisory Board, which raised $25,000 in eight weeks, matching a challenge from an anonymous donor, to establish the fund.
