Level 2 Mastic Asphalt This course provides you with a broad knowledge, understanding and skill training to become qualifi ed within Mastic Asphalting. The qualifi cation is aimed at people who wish to join the construction industry as a Mastic Asphalter. This is a high- demand skill in the industry, so with this qualifi cation you’ll be well placed to get work.

Possible next steps: Employment.


Mastic Asphalt is the substance that provides waterproofi ng for roofi ng and tanking, and acts as a tough working surface and damp-proof membrane in fl ooring and paving. We are the only college in the country to offer courses in Mastic Asphalting.
