On Track to Work On Track to Work supports students to make their fi rst steps into work. Qualifi cations offered are Personal Social Development at entry 1 and 2 and Employability at Entry 2 – accredited by ASDAN. The course is designed for people aged 16-24 with varying degrees of learning and behaviour diffi culties to fi nd work or fi nd out more about the world of work. This programme helps to increase confi dence and enable students to gain employability skills. As part of the course you will attend a work placement e.g. in housing, retail or a motor vehicle garage. There are opportunities to build on your own personal plan as well as develop core skills of English, maths and ICT. Other activities include writing application forms, CVs, how to manage your money and your rights and responsibilities at work.


Entry requirements: Interview and initial assessment at the College.


Possible next steps: Further skills training or higher level courses, or supported employment.
