ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES (ESOL)


ESOL General Education


Entry Level 1-Level 2 This one year, full-time course is for people at all levels, from complete beginners to Level 2. The courses combine ESOL with maths and IT skills.


Entry requirements: You will need to attend a College interview and assessment.


Possible next steps: Students who complete Entry Level 3 can progress on to vocational courses or onto our Pathway to BTEC and / or GCSEs with science, English and maths.


Pathway to BTEC and / or GCSEs with Science,


English and Maths This one year, full-time programme is for students with Level 1 English who want to progress on to BTECs or GCSEs. This course combines English language with science and maths.


More pathways may be available, so please check with us.


Entry requirements: You will need to attend a College interview and assessment.


Possible next steps: Students who complete this course may move on to BTEC or GCSE courses including science, English and maths.


ADDED EXTRAS


Our students enjoy their time at the College. We have sport, drama, debates, music and homework clubs so you can get the most out of your time here. As


well as studying ESOL by itself, you can combine it with other subjects. Please ask us for details.
