We’re here to help you choose the right course. Our team can tell you about all the courses at the College. Friendly staff will give you initial advice and guidance on the courses we offer that are suitable for you.


HELPING YOU TO GET ON A COURSE STEP 1


You can also ask about fi nances, nursery provision or entry requirements and other aspects of the College. You can speak to specialist advisers if necessary. To get a place on the course you want, you need to apply as soon as possible. But don’t worry; you’re not committed at this stage – you can change your mind about your course later on.


Once you’ve decided which course you’d like to study, post or hand in your completed application form to the Admissions team. The application form is in the middle of this guide and the address to return the form to is printed on it. You can also apply online at www.hackney.ac.uk.


STEP 2


We’ll invite you to an interview and/or assessment. It’s a great time to talk to the tutor to make sure it’s the right course for you. You may need to do an online or written initial assessment. Don’t worry! It’s just to get an idea of the level you’re at so we can make sure you join the right course.
