Apprenticeships combine study, either at College or on site, with employment and


your qualifi cation can be taken at level 2, 3 or 4. As an employee, you’ll earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff to get job-specifi c skills. Off the job, usually on a day-release basis, you will receive training to work towards nationally recognised qualifi cations.

Instead of going to university, I enrolled on a Business Administration Apprenticeship at HCC. I really enjoyed it, as I learnt valuable skills and got paid at the same time.
