WALDEN’S CONVENTION DAILY ISSA/INTERCLEAN® 2012 Kaivac Makes Miracle Donation The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields

in Fairfield, Ohio, is the site of two base- ball fields built essentially by volunteers and designed for use by young people with physical and development disabilities. And thanks to a gift from Kaivac, de-

velopers of the No-Touch Cleaning™ and OmniFlex™ cleaning systems, the facility will also be thoroughly and hygienically cleaned. Kaivac donated a KV1250 No-Touch Cleaning system to clean restrooms as well as concession stands and other areas at the site.

The entire field is designed to be disabil- ity friendly and includes such things as:

• State-of-the-art handicapped-ac- cessible restrooms

• A level parking lot with an abun- dance of handicapped-accessible park- ing

• Level sidewalks and easy-to-ma-

neuver ramps connecting various areas of the field

• Covered ground-level dugouts •

Stadium-style seating and a

brand-new electronic scoreboard According to Robert Robinson Sr., Pres- ident of Kaivac, the field will mainly be used by the Miracle League, which makes the dream of playing baseball a reality for thousands of children with disabilities throughout the country.

The Miracle League evolved as a result

of a 2001 segment on the HBO television show Real Sports, which discussed a base- ball field in Conyers, Georgia, used by about 120 children with disabilities. Today, there are 250 Miracle League or-

ganizations in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia. “This is really a unique and special site

and organization,” says Robinson. “Scores of people and organizations have gotten behind the league and helped to make the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields hap- pen. We are proud to be one of them.” n

systems solutions. According to Candi- do, it’s not just about selling product, but the right product mix. “Take our newly launched MiniTitan dispenser. It has the smallest footprint on the market, and when it’s paired with our White Swan 1,200 foot roll towel – the longest on the market – the savings are unbeatable.” This system solution saves valuable maintenance labor hours due to fewer run outs and allows maintenance staff to focus on more important tasks. “Empties are not only an issue for maintenance staff. Guests often feel frustrated and even let down when they experience run outs, es- pecially in bathroom stalls, and it can hurt the overall perception of a company,” says Candido.

Through controlled dispensing, prod- uct consumption is easily minimized. But using premium tissue and paper products also contributes to this because with high- er quality products, patrons use less and get the same results. “To a business, this means savings through fewer replacement

orders,” says Candido. Supporting a company’s overall image is another key element of cost-in-use. The MiniTitan’s small footprint and sleek exte- rior allow it to fit into any facility. It’s all part of building and maintaining satisfied clientele – whether through tenants in an office building or patrons in a food service establishment. “We’re focused on helping our custom-

ers buy smart.” Kruger Products encour- ages customers and distributors to com- pare all product specifications, not just case price or roll diameter. That way you know exactly what you’re getting,” says Candido. The next time you think about saving

money on a particular product, consider all the other savings and benefits you can experience in addition to financial savings.
