represent College Tourist at media events. College Tourist will provide a letter of recommendation based on performance. There is also an opportunity to intern at the College Tourist head office located in Red Bank, NJ.

What Do Ambassadors Do?


As a College Tourist Ambassador you will represent the College Tourist brand on your campus and in your college town by advertising the company and contributing to social media. College Tourist Ambassadors will be given “Ambassadors Kits” which will include guidelines and marketing material for you to use. An Ambassador will be asking fellow students to fill out postcards, wear the company’s apparel (hats, t-shirts, sunglasses), promoting the website through the distribution of CT’s marketing goods. Social media coverage will include active participation in the CT blog, CT instagram (collegetouristbabes).


Responsibilities:


The position is unpaid but offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing media company and publish your work on a national stage. As an Ambassador, you will have access to our exclusive branded gear and marketing material to promote College Tourist on your campus and in your town. A travel allowance will be given on


request for specific travel blog post’s or for special CollegeTourist events.


You Will Be Expected To:


• Write a weekly blog post about the great things going on in your town and on campus


• Collect 50 new postcards about your college town each month


• Make a connection with a local- student favorite- establishment and assist in the development of a sponsorship program with College Tourist (an example will be given on completing the application)


In Return For Your Work As A College Tourist Ambassador…


Members of the College Tourist team will have opportunities to travel to other College Towns to


• First, post a post card on thecollegetourist.com and email us a screenshot or the link to hey@thecollegetourist.com, include your name. Secondly, tell us about one of your favorite places to visit. It could be your local scenic bluff, or a location overseas! It’s that simple. We don’t need your work experience, we think travelling whether it’s in your hometown or overseas is the best experience you can have.


• Thirdly, give us 3 ideas on a blog post like a special event or unique regular occurrence that happens in your College Town or on your campus! For example one school hosts an bbq cookout every month in the quad!


• Experience in communications, journalism, online media, marketing/public relations/event planning, entrepreneurship, or general leadership experience is a plus, but not essential.
