Aimed at familiarising colleagues with the life and work of Canterbury Christ Church University, held on the Canterbury campus.
What you can expect to learn:
• An overview of Christ Church past, present and future • Presentations by the Vice Chancellor and members of the Senior Management Team linked to the University Strategic Plan
• Introduction to essential key support functions including, Information Services, Student Support, HR and Organisational
Development, Facilities etc
• Opportunity to meet other new colleagues. Led by:

An Introduction to Teaching in HE
Target audience: Essential session for all Academic staff new to teaching in Higher Education.
Brief outline: This session provides an overview of:
• The learning, teaching and assessment strategy of the University, including details of resources available to support planning and delivery of taught sessions
• The quality framework operating at the University and new developments in UK HE
• Academic development opportunities available to staff, including the Post-Graduate Certificate in Learning and

Introduction to Equality and Diversity
