Research Ethics and Governance: Making the System Work for You Brief outline:


Provides a basic understanding of the research ethics framework and institutional processes governing research activity. Aims to help researchers understand the fundamental ethical frameworks, dilemmas and basic tools common in research ethics and includes a comprehensive introduction to CCCU ethics and governance.

Ethical Issues in Research Brief outline:


Provides an opportunity for participants to explore in detail practical ethical issues associated with conducting research that involves human subjects. Experienced researchers will share their experiences of navigating a variety of ethical challenges during their research, as well as discussing some strategies developed to address such challenges within an ethical framework.

Getting Started in Securing Research and Knowledge Exchange Funding: Finding Funding and the Bid Writing Process, an overview Brief outline:


This workshop, aimed at academics who are new to bid-writing, will also cover university procedures in relation to externally funded R&KE applications and the support available from the Research and Enterprise Development Centre (RED).
