Research Methods: The Auto/ Biographical Narrative Imagination in Education Research Brief outline:


Introduces researchers to approaches that encompass life history, biography and auto-biography, auto-ethnography, literary explorations, the use of images and exploration through drama and other creative methods. It will also seek to understand research in interdisciplinary ways, using, for instance, psychological, sociological, literary and educational frames.

Introduction to NVivo Brief outline:


These workshops are designed to introduce researchers to the powerful software tool, NVivo. NVivo is a qualitative data analysis (QDA) computer software package designed for qualitative researchers working with rich text-based and/or multimedia information, where deep levels of data analysis are required.

Introduction to Statistics Using SPSS


Brief outline: SPSS is among the most widely used program for statistical analysis in social science. These workshops will familiarise participants with SPSS, progressing from data entry and presentation, to 1 and 2 sample tests, one-way ANOVA and simple regression.
