This workshop will explore feminist epistemologies and research methods and will focus on how feminist scholars have challenged dominant theories of knowledge and major methodologies employed in Social Sciences and Humanities.

Research Methods: Marxist Research Methodology Brief outline:


This workshop will examine whether our research theories and methods are objective, or are products of the social relations in which they are embedded? Is there a truth of society, concealed by dominant ideologies? Is a science of society possible? How do economic forces shape social scientific projects? These and other questions will be addressed in this session, dealing with issues of Marxist theory and method.
