Learning Technology Team
The Faculty Learning Technology Team work alongside Academic staff to ensure they are aware of technologies available to enhance learning and teaching. The team support the planning and implementation of TELT as well as advising on the pedagogic implications, evaluation and quality of technology in learning and teaching.
The team support the implementation of the TELT strategy via activities such as:
• Technology enhanced learning and blended learning (including: planning, design, tools, support and quality)
• Use of the Virtual Learning Environment
• Use of Turnitin (for e-submission, originality checking and/or e-feedback)
• Computed Aided Assessment • Web2.0 tools - e.g. blogs, wikis and external tools

The team also provide 1:1 inductions for all Academic staff on learning technologies and support available within the institution.
They also manage the DEBUT (Digital Experience Building in University Teaching) programme which is a contextualised staff development programme offered annually for staff wishing to enhance their digital literacy to support the student experience.
