Target audience: Mandatory for any member of staff recruiting staff who has not previously attended training.
It is University policy that staff cannot sit on an interview panel without having undertaken training.

• Recruitment from vacancy to induction/probation • HR and you - roles and responsibilities • Drafting job descriptions and person specifications • The legal framework • Shortlisting and Assessment • Interviewing skills and techniques

Recruitment and Selection Refresher Programme Target audience:
All staff involved in recruitment and selection who have attended initial training must attend a mandatory update every 3 years.
Brief outline:
• Review of current practice and experiences • Update on legal and policy issues
• Revisiting Recruitment and Selection at Christ Church to improve practice.

Disabled Students - Resources and Responsibilities for all staff
Target audience: Essential for all staff.
What you can expect to learn:
• Responsibilities under the law • How to treat disabled students fairly
• What resources and support exist to assist staff in their working relationships with disabled students
• Personal action planning, including how to make reasonable adjustments
• How to review current work practices to ensure they are inclusive and accessible.
