Music BY SHERWIN COELHO Seal @ BIC, Bournemouth

Seal announced himself with two huge hits in the 90s - ‘Crazy’ and ‘Killer’. But no ‘Best Hits of the 90s’ list will ever be complete without Seal’s ‘Kiss From A Rose’. It featured on the soundtrack of Batman Forever but the song was so good it actually did more wonders for the movie than vice versa. Since then, Seal has been trying to emulate his early 90s success but more focus has been on his personal life and subsequent marriage and recent divorce to supermodel Heidi Klum. With that part of his life now behind him, Seal will be hoping it’s not too late to return to his glory days. Now’s your chance to see the award-winning vocalist and songwriter in action.

SANDI THOM @ MR KYPS, POOLE - 08 NOVEMBER Sandi Thom achieved success really early and disappeared off the musical sphere equally suddenly. ‘I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker’ was a huge hit in the UK, Ireland and Australia which led to Platinum sales of her debut album. Her second album didn’t receive any airplay but she was back in 2010 with a decent third album which was nominated for Best Album in the British Blues Awards 2011. With a new album just released, Thom will be hoping to achieve some of the success that made her a household name in 2009. Her sound combines blues-rock with country-flavoured charm.

THE SENSATIONAL 60S EXPERIENCE @ PAVILION THEATRE, BOURNEMOUTH - 24 NOVEMBER For some of you older folks turning on the radio and wondering what on earth music has degenerated to today, you’re probably from an era where British rock and roll ruled the charts. The Tremeloes formed in 1958 and topped the charts with hits like ‘Do You Love Me’ and ‘Silence is Golden’.
