Portsmouth will host darts’ ‘Untouchables’

Portsmouth Pyramids Centre is set to host a magical night of darts as some of the world’s best players assemble for the third annual Money Shop Untouchables in December. The incredible line-up includes three

World Champions for what is set to be a night to remember, as top class sport meets festive entertainment. There is nothing quite like a night at the darts. The world-class field is headed by three stars of the 2012 Premier League in James Wade, the world number three, five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld and newly-crowned European Champion Simon Whitlock. They will be joined by two-time World Champion Ted Hankey, former under-21 World Champion Arron Monk, local favourite Andy Jenkins and Dutch pair Co Stompe and Michael van Gerwen. Sky

Sports’ Rod Harrington will also be in attendance as a VIP host for the exciting event, which takes place on Saturday 08 December. Australian ace Whitlock, who lives near

Portsmouth, said: “I’m really looking forward to a great night and proud to be part of a spectacular line-up. I know the locals love their darts and they will see some fantastic arrows at this event. We’ll have a bit of fun too but we are all competitive professionals and will be doing our best to beat each other.”

A range of tickets are available to suit all potential requirements, from standing to VIP. Tickets for this ever popular event can be purchased online at www.dartshop.tv or by calling 08450 180180.
