Christchurch’s hidden gallery

Tucked away off the high street, The Hayloft Gallery in Christchurch is a gem of a find. Set in a charming historic building you’re sure to be impressed by its exhibitions of local arts and crafts. The gallery is managed by CADArts, a voluntary organisation that is run totally by volunteers; their aim is to promote arts in the Christchurch area. Exhibitions are held often and change frequently. It’s good to know that local artists are being supported so well. There are a range of crafts are on display, from gentle watercolours to skilfully turned pottery and ceramics and more – it’s definitely worth popping in when visiting the town. From Friday 09 November, Hayloft Gallery will be filled with unusual and very affordable Christmas gifts made by a variety of local craftspeople. Take

advantage of this ideal opportunity to purchase that unique, extra special gift without breaking the bank. The Hayloft Gallery is situated opposite the car park entrance in Wick Lane. Look for the white building with bright pink signs and a hayloft door on the first floor. CADArts are also running a Christmas

Craft Fair on Sunday 25 November at Hoburne Farm Holiday Park, Hoburne Lane, Christchurch where even more crafts will be on display. Go along for a great day of alternative Christmas gift shopping and get your loved ones a special gift.
