“It is a big jump from Sunday league football to the academy but after joining Watford I still did well up front,” he said. “When playing against Spurs in a game our right-back got injured so I was asked to do a job there. After that I was told I could make it as a right-back and I just stuck there.”


“Sometimes I’d love to get another chance to go up front and I’d fancy myself to get a few goals,” he joked. “From here I’d just like to get another goal as Lloyd (Doyley) is now ahead of me, I’m starting to feel the pressure!”
