2. Who would you consider your “style icon”?

Tat’s a hard one. I would have to say Kate Middleton is my current style icon. She always looks super chic and feminine. I also have to mention Gabrielle (Coco) Chanel. Her style is classic.

3. Where are your favorite shopping spots (both online and in person)?

Sophia Lewycky

1.Describe your personal style in 3 words: Classic, Chic and Timeless

“Every day is a fashion show and the world is my run- way,” is Sophia Lewycky’s favorite quote and when you meet her, it’s clear that she belongs on a runway. Beauti- ful and radiant in her high-heels and jeans, Sophia’s baby bump is barely noticeable. Te 32 year old soon to be first time mom exudes confidence and style.

Aſter years studying and then working in the fashion in- dustry, Sophia developed a passion for fashion. “I love the way it makes me feel,” she says. Now as a Pharma- ceutical Customer Service Associate, Sophia may not be directly immersed in the industry but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying it. “Whenever I get a new outfit or pair of shoes, I absolutely cannot wait to wear it,” she says.

Fall is one of Sophia’s favorite season’s for clothes. She’s looking forward to wearing leggings, blazers, and skinny pants with riding boots. Sophia, a Hockessin resident, says that geting ready in the morning starts in the shoe closet. “I decide which shoes I want to wear for that day. Ten I pick an outfit to go with them!”

I shop everywhere but here are a few of my top favorites: Ebay and Etsy, antique Stores/ flea markets/consignment shops, TJMaxx and Marshalls (especially the stores with the runway department, Zara, Ralph Lauren, H&M, Gap, A Pea in the Pod, and Target (now that I am pregnant.)

4. What is your most recent purchase?

My most recent purchases were an amazing vintage Gucci summer dress and a brand new Gucci blazer with tags from an antique store in South Jersey for a steal.

5. Do you look for a bargain or is price not an issue if you really love it?

I am always looking for a bargain and love to share where to find great deals with my family and friends. However, I will splurge if it’s a one of a kind vintage piece or a staple to add to my wardrobe.

6. What are some of your beauty must-haves?

Smashbox is my favorite brand for beauty products. Some of the products I can’t live without are:

Smashbox Eyebrow Highlighter, Halo Hydrating Powder, Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer, and Cream Blush. Also, Tantalizer Body Cream, it gives you the look of having a natural glow and makes your legs look amazing.

7. If you had endless amounts of money, what would you buy?

First, I would buy a beach house. Next, I would purchase the entire Christian Louboutin shoe collection and a Chanel quilted classic handbag.

8. What is your all-time favor- ite outfit you have ever worn?

Tat would have to be my Laz- aro wedding dress with Badgley Mischka shoes, and vintage rhinestone earrings. I felt so beautiful in that dress.

9. What are your favorite style magazines and blogs?

I read more magazines than blogs. My top two favorites would have to be US Weekly and InStyle. I like to see what the stars are wearing.

10. Can you share some good style advice with us?

Shoes make the outfit. You could wear a simple black dress, and a fabulous pair of shoes will step it up a notch. Also, when- ever you find a great evening dress, especially for a good deal, buy it. You never know when you might need one for a formal event. Lastly, splurge on a couple staple pieces for your wardrobe. Spend less on trendy pieces, as they may be out of style by next season.
