Green Hamilton Sorter’s Commitment to the Environment


We recognize our responsibility in maintaining and improving our environment. Through the use of recycled materials used to produce our products to our waste reduction programs, our company is continually improving our methods in the use and disposal of material.


✦ We use Particleboard and MDF which are fabricated from recycled wood waste material or fiber generated from wood residue left behind by lumber harvesting and processing.


✦ The cardboard packaging material utilized is made from recycled material. ✦ Unusable pallets are recycled. ✦ We work with customers to reduce the amount of packaging materials required for shipping. ✦ All Aluminum scrap is recycled. ✦ Adhesives used when laminating are a water-based alternate to solvent-based adhesives. ✦ Products meeting low VOC emissions are utilized. ✦ Powder coat paint is used on all metal surfaces which is waste free and does not require solvents.


We are pleased to announce that the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute has recognized Hamilton Sort- er’s conservation efforts. We have received GREENGUARD’s Children and School Product Certification for low emitting products and materials under the standards of the Institute. Hamilton Sorter also has its’ product tested every quarter to verify that it meets these standards.
