BACK SPLASH Back Splash Construction
Back splashes are used to protect walls and to hide gaps caused by bowed or unsquare walls. They are constructed of 1 1/16” thick high- pressure laminate (HPL) with industrial grade 40-50 lb. sub-strate backed with a .027 phenolic backer. When available, back splashes are edged with 1.5mm impact resistant PVC edgebanding.
Other back splashes are available to match work surfaces such as: ✦ Chemical resistant ✦ Anti-static ✦ Marmoleum ✦ Tuff surface ✦ Resin tops ✦ Stainless steel ✦ Solid surfacing ✦ Wood butcher block
*Call for availability and costs of other materials.
Back splashes are attached by installation crew. Suggested means of attaching are contractor grade adhesive like liquid nail (supplied by installer).
