we prayed into specific areas such as Healing, The Lost, The Church and Revival & Breakthrough. During the month we also set up a

prayer wall in the church where prayer requests could be placed and during the week the wall was prayed over. There was also a half-night of prayer

which was well attended and the time flew by as we interceded for the lost, the lonely and the hurting. On Sunday mornings we explored this

powerful and exciting subject in the sermons which we then applied to our prayer lives. We know that prayer is the key to

spiritual breakthrough and we continue to try and follow the example of the early

s a church we devoted the whole of the month of July to prayer. Each week

church who we read about in Acts 1:14 “They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.” When Peter was imprisoned in Acts 12 we are told in verse 5 “So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”

It is time for us as Christians to get

back to basics and build our lives on a platform of prayer. Breakthrough is needed in our nation and prayer is the key. I am sure that what we have learnt and experienced as a church throughout July has impacted us going forward and we have testimonies of answered prayer for which we give God the glory.
