Hantavirus-


9/11- For the anniversary of 9/11 our school went out to the quad and listened to the very important passage that president Obama wrote. Then we


all had a moment of silence. Later violence and protests occurred in Northern Africa and the Middle East as a result of a recently released video believed to be offensive to Islam. Here in Tustin, however, Muslim Americans held a vigil to show support for their United States homeland.


Yosemite National Park is a wonderful place to stay. It is great for campers, mountain climbers, and anyone that just wants to get in to touch with nature. Unfortunately, recently in the park 8 people have come down with the hantavirus. The virus was spread through rat droppings. Yosemite National Park remains open, but beware of the Hantavirus.

News- during week one Green Bay Packer, Aaron Rogers got a concussions. Concussions have become a serious problem in sports. As more serious effects of concussion have become revealed. The four major sports leagues in North America are beginning to rethink and change their policies toward safety. Today, some kids may not want to play football because they don’t want to get injured or end up like their favorite player.

Bale- most news is bad news,


but Bale did something good.


Christian Bale flew a kid with cancer and his family to California, where they went to Disneyland and even ate at Disneyland’s Club 33 last month. While disneyland is a place for everyone, Disney’s Club 33 is usually reserved for special people and occasions.


Hurricane Isaac- New Orleans often gets hits by hurricanes. In 2005, Hurricane


Katrina was the deadliest and destructive hurricane that hit New Orleans. Many years before, Hurricane Betsy hit the city. This year Hurricane Isaac hit as a category 1 and caused 20 million dollars of repairs. The good new was, it wasn't as deadly as Hurricane Katrina and Betsy.
