Harris’ British scents of occasion

LYN HARRIS, owner of the Miller Harris boutique in Bruton Street, has developed a range of fragrances for Marks & Spencer, available this month at the Marble Arch branch. Fraser beauty hall gets a makeover

Breath of fresh hair

HOLIDAYS CAN PLAY HAVOC with your hair colour, so if you feel it’s time for a change, you may want to consider Jo Hansford’s Day to Night colour service, which allows you to alter your colour depending on your mood. The service works so that your own hair colour in its natural parting looks as if nothing has been changed on the top of the head – just flashes of subtle colour peeking out from underneath. With one flick to a side parting, it seems as if your entire head of hair has been dyed. Among the shades on offer are bright pink on blonde, caramel over chocolate or platinum over medium blond. The service is available at the Jo Hansford salon at 48 South Audley Street, priced from £100. To book, call 020 7495 7774.

THE NEW House of Fraser Beauty Hall celebrates the Oxford Street store’s art deco heritage, with grand columns and wide aisles added to give the space a more luxurious feel. Designed to inspire and engage customers more, it houses the store’s entire collection of luxury, contemporary, doctor, artistry and niche skincare and colour brands. Existing international brands have been given a complete makeover with each counter receiving a whole new look. It also features several exclusive counters from brands such as Chanel, Dior and Clarins as well as Nails Inc. Jelly Belly Nail Bar. New to the hall are Elizabeth Arden, Dr. Murad,

Wild About Beauty, SEN, Gamila Secret and Rosina’s Lotions and Potions.

The fragrance hall has doubled in size and is made up of a series of boutiques, with new brands including L’Artisan Parfumeur, Penhaligon’s and Robert Piguet. The beauty offer has also been extended with

the introduction of a suite of seven spacious treatment rooms featuring Dr Murad, Clarins, Shiseido and Decléor. The other three rooms will provide pop-up space for treatments from other beauty brands.
