V– Vero Possumus - Yes we can!

Having reviewed your activities and hopefully discovered to your great surprise that you have done much more that you originally thought, the next step is to examine each of those activities.

The fundamental value of CPD is that it provides you with the opportunity to evaluate your current skills and competencies, identify any possible learning gaps and then take practical and positive steps to fill the gaps and enhance your future.

Start by considering whether those activities you completed actually meet your CPD requirements. Ask yourself a few key questions.

• Did those activities meet my particular needs?

• Can I practically apply the learning in the work place?

• Will what I learned be of benefit to my company or my clients?

• Are there any areas I can improve or learn something new?

Let’s go

Better still if you can evaluate each learning activity after you have completed it when it is fresh in your mind. Documenting as you go will save you a lot of trouble should you be selected for an audit.
