Take some time out to review your professional development activities. You may be pleasantly surprised to find that you have done a lot more than you think. Ask yourself how have you kept up to date in order to successfully do your job?

Some suggestions to get you started • What events did you attend recently? • Did you attend any of your local district society events • Did your company organise some in house training. • Why don’t you read over the last brochure on Professional Development to remind your self of the activities offered by the Institute that can constitute CPD

• Did you deliver any presentations, how did you prepare /research for it.


• Are you in a network, perhaps you had a speaker address your network on a particular topic?


• Did you study for any additional qualifications? • Maybe you have even just completed a CARB/Practice Review. Did you know that this in itself can constitute CPD?


• Have you learned anything from professional advisers? • What about meetings where technical issues were discussed?
