S – Situation Relax, how can I?


Let me guess. You have not done a CPD event in over 3 years, you are trying to hold down a job, raise your children and pay your mortgage. You’ve lived through sleepless baby nights, the toddler temper tantrums, the back to school blues and now your teenager wants to go camping at the Electric Picnic with 20 other sensible 16 year olds!


Your company no longer pays for your CPD and your own personal budget is stretched to the limit more and more each year. Within your own company there have been staff cutbacks and you find you are doing the work of three people. Even if you had the budget to do some training you don’t have the time anymore.


Next thing you know there is a Regulator knocking on your door suggesting this would indeed be a good time to carry out a CPD audit. You need this as much as you need a hole in the side of your head.


Relax, take a deep breath, you are not alone. Talk to any one of your fellow members. Help is at hand!
