ITIHAAS COMES TO SELFRIDGES

A

Selfridges Birmingham has welcomed Itihaas Brasserie to its ground floor food hall. This is a new venture from the owners of Itihaas, which is located in the city’s Jewellery Quarter. The new concept aims to offer food to high stan- dards yet in a casual setting, the company states.

Raj Rana, managing director of Itihaas says “We will bring true Indian hospitality to Selfridges, echoing our mantra of ‘Atithi Devo Bhavah’ or ‘the guest is God’. We hope discern- ing shoppers and diners alike will come and experience the new dawn of Itihaas in Birmingham’s shopping heaven.”

Established in 2005 Itihaas has expanded from being purely a restaurant and is now the preferred supplier of Asian food at various 4 and 5 star venues across the West Midlands and London areas. These include the Principal Hayley, Q hotels and Hilton groups.
