Howdy Amigos, September is here marking the end of the

summer. Election year is also here and equine issues including slaughter are on the table. Contact your Congressmen and Senators and let them know how you feel about the roundups and slaughter of our mighty horses. Let them know we will not support it nor will we stand for it!

This month also marks the second

International Equine Conference 2012 in Las Vegas sponsored by the Equine Welfare Alliance.

Go online to www.equinewelfarealliance.org for all information, dates,

hotels and agendas. Things and speakers are being finalized now, so maybe you can volunteer during the IEC 2012. I’m sure they could use all the help they can get. Think about becoming a sponsor!

For inspiration you don’t have to go any further than to read this issue of

trueCOWBOYmagazine. Dive into the beautiful article, Restoring the Takhi by RT Fitch (the incomparable RT Fitch). The wonderful iVIEW with Patti Colbert and Alex Dawson about the documentary “Wild Horse, Wild Ride”. Check out our beautiful September Buckle Bunny, Tanna Frederick, Actor, Director, Activist.
