Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life announces the launch of the CYACYL It’s A Good Life lecture series. The monthly events will be held at William Paterson University, Department of Continuing and Professional Studies building located at 1600 Valley Road, in Wayne, NJ. Lectures begin at 7 pm; doors open 6:15 pm.


According to CYACYL host and CYACYL: 24/seven publisher, Joan Herrmann, “The lecture series is a natural extension of the CYACYL brand. The radio show and magazine provide tools for per- sonal growth and self-empowerment on a mass scale, now we can bring information that changes lives to a more intimate setting.”


Herrmann added, “It is our goal to educate, inspire, motivate and empower. As philosopher Francis Bacon said, ‘Knowledge is power.’ CYACYL guests and writers are some of the most inspirational and influential people in the


world. We want to help people tap into their inner power, live life to the fullest, and find their joy.”


Julie Genovese, award-winning author of the book, Nothing Short of Joy, kicks off the series on Tuesday, October 9, at 7 pm. Genovese was born a dwarf with degenerative arthritis. As a young girl she considered herself a freak, unworthy of a rich, full life.


According to Genovese, there were desperate times of humiliation, medical studies, naked pho- tos for medical texts, arthritis, and multiple opera- tions, including two brain surgeries.


Genovese shares her incredible journey from vic- tim hood to empowerment, as her troubles were ultimately turned into treasures by the one choice that changes everything: She decided she would stop at nothing short of joy. Julie has been fea-
